New Tongue Ring, Is It Finished Swelling ? plz help?

Everyone heals differently. The first time I got mine done, it hurt soooo bad, couldn't really talk well for about a week. It is normal for the circle indent on your tongue, it's from the swelling. When you can move the barbell freely without pain and there is room between the two ball ends, it's healed. You don't want to try and change it too soon, it may be hard to get thru and can be painful . Try eating popsicles and slurpees, the swelling goes down quick! Be patient, call the place that did it for you and ask their advice on when you can change it, all places seem to have a little different time frame. Good Luck! ENJOY!!!!
