Do you agree that Spain is the greatest and most fascinating country on earth?

I've recently studied spanish history and I can't understand why spain is less popular than france, italy, germany and the UK when spain has given europe most of its greatness and culture. for example, regarding the anglo-spanish war most history books only recall the defeat of trafalgar but don't say that finally spain won the war. spain defeated the ottomans and prevented an invasion of islam throughout all europe. mary I of england, daughter of catalina de arag�n, is known as bloody mary while the and blas�e queen elizabeth is admired by everyone. then look at the US, it seems to me that the english didin't do anything, for you can't find the beautiful cities the spaniards built in latin america. and so on.
