Do you believe the future president should be inspired or be able to receive revelation from God?

I believe the current president did a great disservice to America by perpetuating the idea that he communed with god. Religion should be private, and his numerous references to his own religion while performing his duties as president often acted as a state endorsement of religion. The president is not just an individual he is the executive branch of our government and should act in a more professional manner.
