Getting my old cat to like my new one?

okay, so i just got a new kitten. her name is Jager and she is two months old. i have an older cat named Pantera, he is about a year. He hates her. every time i hold her, he meows and he actually tried to go after her neck the other night. what is the easiest and safest way to get him to at least tolerate her? also...my dog bella (a cha-weenie catahula) thinks the kitten is a toy because she plays with Pantera that way. how do i get her to understand she needs to be nice? at least until Jager is older
