The Holdup riddle?

I would guess Mr. Prince...the so called robber would have had his hands full and been unable to open the door with the knife in one hand and the money in the other...he would have had to drop the knife before he opened the door...not on the way out as Mr Prince stated. (That's just my guess! Can't wait to see the answer! :D)
