In Mac Camino, how do I select text not a link?

I'm using a Mac with the Camino browser. I frequently will highlight a block of text and then drag it into another window. In Camino, if that text is a link, it pastes the link location, i.e. a href="http://url.garbage/" rel="nofollow"http://url.garbage//a rather than the text. I want the text. There's already a way to get the link - right click "Copy link location". So how do I make it give me the text?
