Dana 30 problems?

I have a 1992 Cherokee, front hit on drivers side, diff fluid flies everywhere from the end of the axle when I drive it. Pretty sure the axle seal is damaged. I'm wondering if I should fix the seal or replace the entire axle. Thing is, the bracket holding the lower control arm is also smashed. I have the Chrysler 8.25 rear and no ABS, so I'm not sure what the gear ratio is (haven't looked) but I think its an oddball gearing. Suggestions?
