Boat motor sitting in water for 3-4 years.?

Next door, there is an abandoned pontoon boat, the boat still has a motor on it, it's an Evinrude, but its been sitting outside in the water for 3-4 years. Do you think it will still run? It would save me a lot of money instead of buying a new one.
