What would you do if your mother said this to your three year old?

I would tell my mother in no uncertain terms that she is not to use my child as a go-between to p on nasty comments to me. It's damaging to your daughter's emotional health. If she continued this I would let her know that she will not be coming to visit anymore unless she stops.
