Omega 3 fatty acids?

I eat about 3 servings of wild caught salmon a week for my omega 3 fatty acids. However I read that the omega 3 in fish is EPA and DHA. I also read that the most important omega 3 is ALA which can actually make the EPA and DHA. Should i also take flaxseed oil to get the ALA, or is the fish enough.
